The Cimarron Lonesome Dove Walker Dragoon in .44 caliber is a black powder replica which has been embellished with great attention to detail. The 9" barrel and steel backstrap have a charcoal blued finish, the engraved cylinder has been left in the white while the frame has received an attractive case colored finish. Brass has been used for the trigger guard and grip frame. Finely figured walnut is used for the grips. The blued steel backstrap is engraved "Capt. Woodrow F. Walker, Texas Rangers Frontier Battalion," and "E Company No. 119" is engraved on the left side of the barrel and frame. Serious collectors will want to get the Capt. Augustus McCrae Walker Dragoon as well.
