Mfg Item #: CA911
While it looks like many of the conversion revolvers of the era, the Colt Model 1872 Open Top was their first revolver specifically manufactured for the new brass cartridges. It was first produced with Navy style grips, then later with Army style. This modern day reproduction from Cimarron features the Navy-sized grips and is a spitting image of the original. It can fire .44 Special, .44 Colt or .44 Russian.
